一 |     8月26日消息，AI开发者Angel近日展示了由GPT-5.6 Sol模型自主设计的一款名为Codex-R32的定制CPU，并成功在虚拟沙盒环境中运行了经典第一人称射击游戏《毁灭战士》。     该CPU的设计过程完全由GPT-5.6 Sol主导，其内部包含了完整的指令解码器、寄存器堆以及执行单元，为了验证其可行性，开发者将这套处理器放到一款支持电路仿真、图灵完备的虚拟沙盒环境当中进行验证。

三 |          软件端使用PureDOOM端口进行编译，输出针对RV32IM指令集的机器码，硬件端则由AI确定的逻辑闸结构直接执行这些底层指令。    测试视频显示，处理器的逻辑门脉冲与游戏画面同步运行，成功运行《毁灭战士》游戏，证明AI设计出来的架构具备合格的逻辑严密性，可以驱动复杂的程序内核。     但目前的模拟性能尚无法达到流畅运行的标准，Codex-R32在沙盒中的仿真速度远低于现代实体处理器，画面帧率较低。         面对网友提出的能否运行《孤岛危机》的挑战，该AI模型回应称，这需要先设计出一款配套的显卡，并增加数GB的内存容量。    长期以来，CPU设计一直被认为是人类智力的巅峰领域，涉及数以亿计的逻辑门优化，虽然Codex-R32目前仅是基于RV32IM的精简版架构，但它证明了AI有能力处理复杂的时序逻辑与数据通路设计。
