一 | (ECNS) -- Cross-border tourism, business travel and visits to family members have remained strong during the summer season, with passenger traffic at Beijing's ports steadily increasing. As of Tuesday, Beijing General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection had inspected more than 15 million inbound and outbound travelers so far this year, up 9% year on year. On Aug. 9 alone, more than 82,000 travelers passed through Beijing's ports, the highest single day figure in nearly six years. Officials said the record reflects the capital's growing openness and the vitality of inbound and outbound tourism markets. 。
